Can We Fkn Talk?
Have you ever had that moment in Motherhood where you’ve wondered, “Why did no one tell me this BEFORE I had a baby?” Well I’m here to change all that by having the conversations you wish you had before becoming a parent.
I’m Ashleigh Scrivener, a Connective Parenting and Mindset Coach passionate about supporting Mums to put themselves first so that you have the capacity to respond to your child’s needs and connect not only to yourself but your kids as well. With over 10 years in the early childhood education and care industry, I know a thing or two about early childhood development, children’s behaviour and supporting families through the early years, but when I became a parent myself, I felt like a fish out of water. I love supporting Mums find more ease in their parenting, personal and professional lives while saying goodbye to Mum guilt for good.
This show will feature conversations, stories, helpful tips and parenting support from guest experts and parents with the goal of sharing publicly the conversations every Mum needs to hear.

⚠️ Trigger Warning: This episode contains discussions of domestic violence, which may be triggering for some listeners. Please listen with care.
In this powerful episode of Can We Fkn Talk?, I am joined by Jacqueline Hales, who shares her deeply personal journey through teen pregnancy, being a single Mum, and the harsh realities of domestic violence. Jacqueline reflects on the emotional and physical abuse she endured, how she navigated her escape, and the lasting effects on her mental health and parenting. Through her story, Jacqueline highlights the complexity of domestic violence, the struggle to break free, and the importance of trusting your intuition.
Despite the difficult topics, Jacqueline’s story offers hope and inspiration, showing the strength it takes to make hard choices for both her safety and her daughter's future. She also dives into how her experiences shaped her approach to Motherhood, touching on the guilt and challenges of raising a child as a single parent.
